Thanks for the welcome!

I feel the same way you do about " white " foods. I knew as soon as I

re-introduced a few of them back into my diet (after wls) that there

was an immediate difference in how I felt, craved and ate. It was

like I was a human guinea pig used for an experiment!

I only allow myself some popcorn now and then and I threw out the

pretzels (loaded with salt, also), crackers, cereal, breads and

everything else.

I went an entire year avoiding all of the above and I sailed through

that year thinking how wonderful this surgery was that it took away

all of my cravings and hunger. I sabbotaged myself when I added

the carbs....soooooooooooooooo.....I dumped them from my diet, added

more water and life is good again :) No one will ever convince me

that carbs are harmless. Why suffer and resist and have to use will-

power again when the " pouch " is still trying to work for me?

Glad you are doing so well :) Can't wait to see you at one of the

" POSTIES " meetings!
