Guest guest
Woke up this morning thinking about this. How many of us have osteopenia or porosis? How many of us have had oxalate stones (not talking uric acid--I know nothing about 'em)? Just raise your hands Question I asked the bone doc: do oxalate kidney stones have any bearing on osteoporosis? Question I asked the urologist: do oxalate kidney stones have any bearing on osteoporosis? Neither one can cross into the other one's field, of course. So, my question to anyone else out there...... does there APPEAR to be a correlation? Body filing calcium in the wrong file? Guest guest
I was showing some bone loss on my one year dexascan...but not bad yet. No kidney stones...ever. Monday I'm making an appt. for my two year Dex...will fill you in when I get my results. (Doing my own personal experiment with 5000 mg calcium daily, my blood showed borderline low...we'll see what the pictures show) Regards~ Jacque >
