Guest guest
, Peg always had very poor eye hand coordination. It got worse as she got into the disease. She was very able to use Word Perfect 5.1 with the old DOS menu structure. Once Window 3.1, 95 and 98 showed up, she was totally lost. This was back in the early 90's. I used to hire experienced trainers to train her in Windows and the mouse. I didn't have the patience to do it myself. Even the most experienced, most patient instructors totally wiped out. Peg just couldn't handle the eye / hand coordination and the visual logic required to make Windows work. No matter how we changed the double click interval, nothing worked. Peg is living proof that a visual interface is not for everyone.
