When I was in my teens I was about 120 pounds and 5' 11 " I got married at 21 and went into the Air Force about two years later and found I was 6' 0" and 137 pounds (knew those pants were getting tight ) When I got out of the service at 30 I was 157 pounds and still 6' tall At 45 my arms got too short and I had to get reading glasses. At 50 I was up to about 180 pounds (ideal for a 6 foot man). However, my head started growing through the top of my hair. By 60 I was up to 200 pounds (but now only about 5' 11.5" tall) I turn 65 next month and hope I will be back down to under 200 pounds (lost 10 pounds since Christmas ) Need to change glasses again as the newspaper can only be read from across the room now ) BUT I can see road signs before anyone iin the family ) Head is rapidly growing through the top of my hair too, all my hair is growing faster on my chin and the rest of my body, I could pass for Moses or Santa in a week ) There are advantages to getting older though. I only have to pay $6 to get into the movies now (adults are $8.50). Since I am retired, I don't have to drive the Beltway in rush hour. And when I go in to buy a new car, I tell them the price I am willing to pay and they say okay ) Of course I looked up the price on the internet and at the Credit Union first ) I also paid a one time charge of $10 and got a lifetime pass to all the US National Parks, so far that has saved me about $50 and I intend to make it cost about a penny a visit for the pass ) Darn Aussie's don't give discounts on airfare to senior citixens though - at least not Quantas ( Most airlines in the states have a senior discount also.
