Guest guest
Aletta, Are you saying it's available in other provinces but not in BC? It's a prescription here right? BC is one of the most expensive provinces to live in.. last I heard anyways... have you ever considered moving to another province? I know, it's hard to beat the weather in Vancouver.. and the scenery... but just a thought. Guest guest
That is what I'm saying. My mother in law is coming to visit later this week and I've emailed her to bring some, she brought me some four years back also, she lives part-time in Naples Fl and the rest in Toronto ON. I spent hours searching and it is for sale in other province, it is an OTC (over the counter drug). BC is one of the most expensive provinces Oh, it sure is, and is also about the least friendly to those in need. Frustrating to live next to the sea, but all the shellfish are toxic, and the good stuff is expensive because it is flown in from the east coast. I don't really like Salmon. to live in.. last I heard anyways... have you ever considered moving to another province? Interesting you should mention it just now. Just got off the phone with my X, he brought up me moving back to Ontario, my son is considering it. At least I have friends there, and my in-laws love me more than my actual family. I'd hate to leave my duaghter behind. She has excellent skills and could probably earn more there. All my dance and art connections are in Toronto. It just comes down to - how on earth can I find both the funds and the sheer physical energy to move? All the arrangements, packing, the unknowns such as finding a place, changing medical plans, disability - it looms so mindboglingly large, and there is no-one here who can help me with any of it. Once I am there, there are stacks of people with open arms, and open minds. Do you know of any Neuro's specializing in MSA practicing in Toronto? I can't remember the neuro's name at St. 's hospital I used to see, he was fabulous. My old family physician, who is now retired, is a family friend, escaped with my in-laws from Hungary in 1956, he is now working with'Doctors without Borders', he is helping as much as he can, sure would be handy to live in the same city again. I know, it's hard to beat the weather in Vancouver.. and the scenery... but just a thought. Good thought, I am mulling (almost audibly)...the entire planet has beautiful scenery...and it rains, unrelentingly...people matter more. I'll take the ugly city with a big heart over a gorgeous city with no heart, any time - you can always landscape. Hugs, Pam Thanks for the thoughs, I am feeling isolated and worn. I needed to be pulled back from the edge of desperation. Did I ever mention that you look exactly as I thought you would from reading emails??
