Guest guest
Belinda, I sniff out workshops like some people do garage sales. Our local hospital has many, but it has gotten so large the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Its Arthritis Center sponsored the last program. We had a lot've BOOM VAROOM going today. The local Baptist church had its annual classic car show, I think the noise came from the wannabes that were driving around. It was too hot to go over, they usually have some great wheels of all kinds, not as nice as Timo's, but nice. It was hard, but I parted with most of my purses today, I never thought I was so attached to them. Most were shoulder bags I carried everything in them, but they were too much for the wheelchair. There is an elderly lady near here who gives things away, I used to call her years ago, and found out she was still doing that on limited hours, quite a remarkable person. I haven't been able to walk for months but had been doing pretty good transferring myself until about a week ago - lots of shakiness. My reaching for objects is odd, like real slow and out of reach. This week my gripping seems lost, I just can't seem to make contact and my keyboarding is really difficult. Otherwise, I feel great, just slow. I was asked not to do dishes anymore, oh well. Is this part of the progression? I don't have any appointments scheduled until August. Dodie in MO
