I didn't know if your post was intended for the whole board or not, but I've

learned something about personal trainers in the last few years. These are

all generalities based upon my observation, but what the heck:

First and foremost, they're business-people, so they're going to do whatever

it takes to balance making you both satisfied with your results and yet

willing to return for more.

Second of all, they're not like the image of " perfect people " portrayed on

TV, etc. They're real, live people and mine takes great pride at what we've

accomplished together over the last few years.

They're not like the old drill sargeant on Gomer Pyle, they're usually more

helpful like Gomer.

So, I encourage anyone who can afford it to at least give training a try.

Also, they're like haircutters, you can shop till you find one that works

for you. If I have to cut back my schedule due to $$, it will only be

partially. I can imagine doing once a week with a trainer and two other
