However, regarding the pain issue. I would not be willing to risk/tolerate that condition. There are too many ways to get in trouble in a hurry. I am surprised your doctor is willing to risk your life and his insurance rates. It is sad but true, you may have to become pushy and demanding to be heard. The Dr. wants to wait until Jan to deciede when or if to do surgery, he said I may have a blockage somewhere and if I > still keep having the pain by then he wants to go in and explore and during that time he will fix my pouch, the thing about the pain is that it isn't happening all the time, it comes and goes but when it comes it really hits hard and fast, but when the pain leaves it just stops, kinda confusing but painful, the pain is like someone is > reaching down my throat and twisting my stomach. **************************** Could this be a fistula? With that kind of pain, it doesn't sound like a SLD, unless there's an ulcer or bowel obstruction involved. Just a guess...I hope they figure it out soon, Hope. Were you stapled or sutured? Is this gonna be fixed? Are they just gonna leave it? How was it found? Randy rlogle@... www.geocities.com/rogle32/ AIM: rlogleeln Open RNY: Sept. 26, 2001: 202 lbs gone.
