Guest guest
None of my emails have had the virus, not this computer or the other one. Mind you I only pick up emails from lycos.nl. I suspect they yank the infected emails. I am missing a few of the digests and some other emails sent to me I was never able to collect. So far no one has found a virus on my outgoing messages either. I use Eudora with the POP account. To catch up on missing posts I just pick it up on the web. I've always steered clear as much as possible of Microsoft's software in regards to communication. Because it is most universal most viruses (virii?) are designed with MS programming in mind. It has been a very useful strategy. It is also useful to review the files saved on your harddrive daily and remove all of the ones that are temporary (TMP, *.moz etc.), or files with odd names, erase the temporary intenet files and do a thorough scan before you shut the computer down. The last virus I received was in a letter from a neurologist at University Hospital. Figures really. You are most likely to come accross a virus in the hospital.
