Guest guest
Helicobacter pylori is an infection of the gastrointestinal tract that if left untreated, can cause ulcers, nausea, vomiting and pain. The standard treatment for this is a two week course of eradication therapy with antibiotic treatment usually with a Prev Pack. Approximately ten days after finishing up the antibiotics, standard follow-up would be going for a Helicobacter pylori breath test. You have to breath into a machine and it will measure the levels in your system. If there were ulcers present on gastroscopy, they will probably scheduled for a repeat gastroscopy to assure ulcer healing. Hope this helps and hope you feel better.
