Yes, there have been several people on here with the same addiction. It

often seems to get worse after WLS...replacing one addiction with another

maybe? But, congrats on your sobriety! That's a great success story! We're

all here for you.

We have heard from several members of this group who have issues with alcohol.

But I think you're the first one who recognized the problem, got control, and

came out on top. I think 6 months is terrific, and my best wishes for continued

success.

One question, you mentioned that you were maintaining your weight loss while

drinking. How has the weight been since you turned the corner?

Justme-thank you so much for sharing your story.I think it's a warning we all

need to hear!I have heard of others who turn to alcohol after wls-replacing one

addiction with another.I think many of us need to learn how to FEEL our

feelings,instead of covering them up.
