Guest guest
, At 6 foot tall and a size 14, you aren't just a tall drink of water, you sound like a tall THIN drink of water! The number on the scale (220) may not be that far off from a goal weight for you. Do you have a lot of excess skin? Many of us carry around a good 25 pounds of excess " saggies. " The clothing size for your height seems about right. I'm 5'10 " and wearing a size 12. I consider myself to be pretty much " at goal " based on how I look. It sounds like your tool is still intact since you're getting that " full stop " signal. Perhaps you are just at a " good place " for YOUR body? Guest guest
Dear , I would get scoped... I , too, had a staple line disruption, much pain due to my surgeon at that time ignoring my complaints.. and a marginal ulcer on stoma that had perforated. I was very ill when the surgeon was finally forced to pay attention.. and much of my serious illness due to this complication could have been avoided.. Ulcers are easily treated if diagnosed early .. You will have more peace of mind if you get scoped and everything is still intact.. I didnt gain any weight with my staple line disruption nor could I eat any more food.. each of us is different when we are faced with complications. Take care Hugs, from GA open RNY 12/12/00 Revision 04/18/01 Revision 02/07/02 St wt.... 392 Cw........199 Wt loss..-
Guest guest
I could not eat endlessly, either, with my SLD. A little more than usual, but I was also 5 yrs out. I had a pouch full of acid, too, but that doesn't happen to everyone. Your last 2 questions? Yes, get a scope. Yes, see a different doc.
