Guest guest
I have heard of temporary PEGS. Never seen one tho. I sure would want all of my questions answered before he left the hospital. Our ins paid for the hospital, electric, adjustable, bed for Ralph. You can get long or short rails. Also a trapeze to help him get upright. It was all finally ours after several months. When he passed away I gave it to the nursing home. Be sure you get a heavy duty mattress, not the cheapy ones they come with. Be sure you are going to be covered before you get those things. Be sure it is all prescribed and okayed by the ins company. It is awfully hard to get your money back. You and he will sleep better in your own special spot in your own bed. It is difficult enough in the same room. Both are disturbed in the same bed. I wish you a good experience in the new challenges you are about to face. Do not forget to take care of yourself.
