Don,

Thanks for the update on the meeting. Do you have any idea who is

speaking when and on what subject? It would really help those who

can only spend part of the day with us.

Thanks,

Carol

> Hi Everyone!

> Thanks, Carol for reminding me to refresh everyone on this

subject!

> The main meeting in Boston on Saturday will be professionally

recorded on audio tape. These tapes will

> be available for distribution to everyone as soon as they are

edited and duplicated. I did check the cost of

> having the meeting professionally videotaped and at this time it

was just more expensive than we could afford.

> Besides, the editing of the video and sound would be quite lengthy

and therefore extremely costly.

> From the information that I have gathered, there will be either

two or three audio tapes in each set. I will put

> all the information up on the website as soon as I can after the

meeting.

> Sylvia and I plan to arrive in Boston on Friday afternoon and we

are both looking forward to seeing all of you!

Digitizing the tapes sounds like a great idea - especially if Marcel has

the capability and know how.

Hi Don,

I'm thinking: is it an idea to digitise the tapes and make them

available for download, when they are done?

I'd gladly do that, by the way, but it would take a bit as I'd have

to get the tapes her (Europe, Netherlands) first.

If you want to make arrangements for something like this, mail me at

me address, though I do check the group regularly.

Hi ,

So Don is one of those who organises the conference? That would make

it easier getting the permission, perhaps. Still, even if we don't

get permission from all of them, I could digitise the ones that do

agree.

Disk space is not a problem, I would be digitising them one speaker

at a time anyway, and I don't think (or hope) one speaker can fill up

my 20GB HD without taking a break...Anyway, I have a cd-burner as

well, so if the working files are a bit bigger, I can burn them until

I resample the files.

If Don doesn't ahve the time to approach all the speakers, I'll eb

glad to help there.

Thanks to all who made the Conference in Boston possible and to those who

were able to attend. This is no small undertaking, especially considering

this is the makeup after the cancellation due to 911. I am sure all of us

look forward to the benefits of the Conference and to hearing about them.
