Guest guest
It has been posted in here that iron is absorbed at the bottom of the stomach which is why we need to supplement. However, if iron is ONLY absorbed in the bottom of the stomach, why bother supplementing at all if none of the iron will be absorbed? I was told that a certain amount of iron is absorbed along the intestinal tract. Therefore, only a small portion of the iron we take gets absorbed. If you mean that most of the iron gets absorbed at the bottom of the stomach, please clarify.
