Guest guest
Annette: From what Gray the rehab Tech tolded us. The Quickie G424 that he thinks that Fred should have, will have a chair that will tilt back. That is the one thing that he said would help to keep him from pressure sore's and he said that now Fred can adjust himself, but at sometime he may not be able to, and that he will ordor the wheel chair with the tilt seat. I'm glad you said something about it, I forgot all about that. Oh, yes, part of the argument was that he could change his position himself (which he did for many years), I still change his position for him many times during the day...it has enabled me to get him in the best position for swallowing with a bent head and had made it possible for him to be up and in the chair during the day and for him to travel even though he is totally immobile now!........I just wish that everyone that has this condition could have the same type of chair....I would suggest that you at least try to get one like it....all they can say
