Guest guest Posted October 23, 2002 Report Share Posted October 23, 2002 Hello everyone, Well, we are back from our vacation in Branson....had a wonderful time....saw many, many wonderful shows...and the scenery is just beautiful. We planned on staying there 10 days.....but finally, after 8 days......I decided that I had to get home to my protein drinks and get back On Track!!! My low carb diet that I have been faithful to since June 19th....bit the dust after the 2nd day in Branson!!! Those darn carbs are definitely my problem.....I am just like an alcholic.....give me a little....and I go nuts!!! Popcorn, popcorn, candy, cookies, cookies, cookies, sandwiches......really went nuts!!! So....we came back early....gained 10 lbs!!!!! Grrrr! So, went right back on Low Carb and my protein drinks.....started Saturday....and am down 5 lbs so far....Thank God I didn't do worse damage! SO....have definitely learned from this experience....that carbs are my issue. When I am on Low Carb....I am so much happier and feel so much more energy....and have fewer cravings....Now, just to get my rear in gear and get back to Curves and my exercising!!!
