Guest guest
Phewwww..........what a LOOOONGGGG trip! We left last Monday in the motor home that we bought from my parents and got home last night. Learned to drive the darn thing through all sorts of weather. Mostly RAIN!!!! Came across on I-10, but made a detour to Austin, Tx to see Judy and have lunch with her!!!!!!! Wish it could have been longer, but because of that DARN weather you all were having down south we didn't make the time we thought we would. Unfortunately, had to be back at work today. I have to say traveling in an RV certainly has it's advantages......one is.......eating. You have control. Aren't relying on restaurants for ALL your meals. The other is........it is just totally awesome! LOL I have to say, driving an RV in a LARGE city in Texas is NOT an experience I want to repeat. SCAREY!!!!!!! Very scarey! Next time (and I do hope there will be a next time) we will be towing a car and will be able to get around much better. Well, missed you all. Glad to be back.
