Dear Group: I am in a little bit of a dilemma and am looking for a

co-helper/moderator (even though I don't think there will be need for

moderation, but definitely need help) to help me form the new " Ceep's

Archives " called " OSSG: graduate-newsletter " on Yahoo! groups. Please see

below if you have interest and skills to help. If you are interested, please

email me privately.

thanks

love,

ceep

<< Ceep:

That would be perfectly okay with me. Thanks for asking. It sounds like a

good idea.

Hi Muscle guy, from ceep

Dear , would you tell me if it would be okay to post this on grad

list?

I need someone to help me so I can do the 'clean-up' writing for a grad

newsletter, (read only, no posting, no talk, no chat, no photos) and they

can poswt the pieces to the new grad newsletter site on Yahoo. The content

page

for gradnewlsletter needs to be changed slightly, (I listed it below for you

to

see) and would it be alright to reference as a link, your OSSG Graduate list

too, so people can see to go there too? Here is what I have prepared and

would like to post to grad list with your permission:

thank you l

love,

ceep

Hello everyone:

This is yahoo-challenged ceep here.

Is there anyone who would like to help me put up an index of articles by

ceep

(and evil ceep), on a site I reserved on Yahoo about a year and a half ago,

called “OSSG Graduate Newsletter.†This is a ‘read only’ site for

articles

about post-op life by ceep in order to try to be reasonable about the time I

spend fishing around in my archives to respond to requests for various

postings, and to put all in one place a tiered document about post-op life.

I need a person who is willing to help me who is

1. Knowledgeable about how to run the yahoo site thing and upload an index

of

files for me.

2. I no longer even know how to access the management part of the yahoo

site I set up (so much for my I.Q.) and might have to still link it to yahoo

in

some way I don't understand, as perhaps it was an e-list before or

something maybe.

If someone who is orderly and knows these thing can help me, I can do what I

have been putting off for over a year, and that is put up some of these

often

requested posts that are quite long, such as “Ceep’s Two Cent's Worth†on

various topics, including Reduced Sex Drive after gb, How to Deal with

Jealousy, Taking care of Mr. Happy (self-care for men), Why We Did This In

The First Place, Where Angels Fear to Tread, about the bravery of folks who

have risked in order to have life, What One Ought Expect in Decency from

Medical Professionals, Reality versus Fantasy of post-gastric-bypass, The

Spirit of the Precious Body, How Spouses are Affected, Some Thoughts on What

Hunger Might Mean besides Hungry, Body Dysmorphia (not knowing what size one

truly is)… and more. Plus, posts from evil ceep in a section of her own (I

do not know WHERE she lives, stop asking me for her phone number…)grin

Sort of like the sorcerer's apprentice, I reserved the site and do not know

how to manage it. It has 29 members and I do not now who they are. This

site

is a 'read only' site, you cannot leave messages, and it is not a talk

forum. My idea was to just have it be a newsletter. Now I think it should be

like an e-book, an archive of pages that people often ask me to please look

up in my file cabinet and email to them. This way I could just point them to

the graduate newsletters and via a little paragraph on the bottom of the

content page, point them to grad list for to meet and get to know all the

great people here, as well as to olwen's list especially for those pre-op,

and perhaps to protein list and plastics list too..

This is what it says on yahoo for the site at present; it needs tweaking:

CONTENT PAGE

" Ossg graduate newsletter

A “from time-to-time†overflow newsletter for the dissemination of

psychological, medical and nutritional opinion and information for

" graduates " , those 1 year post-op.

Philosophically, after one year post-op, many profound psychological,

spiritual, physical and relational adjustments are required. Thusly, almost

any subject can be considered: Including, but not limited to, body

dysmorphia

(not realizing one's size), emotional cravings, how to handle dating/ erotic

relationships, medications of various kinds, diets, bone scans, blood

reports, protein loading, jealousy, sane conduct with regard to eating,

loving and being, exercise issues, sexuality issues, etc.

This is an unmoderated site. At this time, the newsletter cannot be posted

to

directly. However, if you have a question about post-op life that you would

like to have considered in the newsletter, you may send it to the

moderator's

yahoo address. Because of time constraints, not all questions can be

responded to, but we will try to respond to as many as we can.

Pre-op questions about the surgery or about insurance and other pre-op

issues

ought go to the other sites that specialize in those issues, such as the

main

OSSG list.

Thank you, and remember, that post-op success is predicated most of all on

learning to have mercy on your precious body; to strive to become a friend

to

the friendless one-- now and forever. Completely. Yes.
