Queen of ulcers here. What made you think you h ad SLD & then changed to

ulcer?

The acid/heartburn...I never had that even pre-op, and it has been getting

steadily worse for about 2 weeks now...to the point where it wakes me up

several times a night! Nothing relieves it for more than a few seconds.

Of course, both of these ideas are just guesses till I can see a doc.

What is the treament for an ulcer?

The primary sign of an ulcer is black blood in the stool. If that is

not present, an ulcer may not be your problem.
