update on Shelby's friend-#2

I just wanted to post a short update for anyone who may have wondered

about my friend . I recieved a phone call that she passed away

last night at her home. I don't know all of the details. I have been

a bit under the weather after having 5 wisdom teeth removed 2 weeks

ago(w/dry sockets), so I have not been able to check on her in about

2 weeks. I really thought that she was doing better. She had begun

to drink protein shakes, although not much at a time, but was still

not doing her vits and not eating well. She was out driving 3 weeks

ago, which was a VAST improvement. I think it all just came a little

too late. I did notice a walker in the back of her truck as I drove

past her house to take my kids to school yesterday morning, but when

I came back by, her truck was gone, so I wasn't able to stop and

check on her.

I hope to talk to her daughter or sister today to find out more

details. My sincere thanks for all of your words of advice,

encouragement, and prayers. I feel such an obligation to reach out to

her 14 year old post op daughter, now more than ever.

I will post more info as I get it.
