Guest guest
Dear Bobbie, My name is Randi. THis is my first post on the 'graduates " OSSG site. Your story reads like my story. I had open RNY on May 31, 2001. I weighed 288 pounds and now weigh 195 pounds. That's a 93 pound loss. I am 5'4 " tall and still wear a size 14 or 16. My weight has been stable since December 2001. I wrote to my surgeon, who suggested that I have an upper GI to rule out staple line loss. I am having the upper GI tomorrow and see my surgeon the following day. It is my hope that I learn more. I would like to reach a BMI of 25, which would mean 152 pounds. That is 43 pounds less than where I am now. Currently my BMI is 33. When I read your story it hit a chord, since I am dealing with the same things you are right now. Sincerley, Randi Suppe OPen RNY May 31, 2001 288/195 or - 93 > endoscopy! > > > > Hi!
