Guest guest
Greetings Belinda! You wondered: > ... about my sleep needs. I am getting worse > and worse about needing sleep. ... I just > can't seem to stay awake. ... I can fall asleep > anywhere and doing anything. I have had extreme > fatigue for a long time but not to the point that > I need sleep as much as I am now. ... This is so > frustrating to me. Though I can offer some possibilities, my best advice is to go see a sleep specialist. This is VERY important. For two reasons: (1) if it is sleep apnea, it can damage your cardiovascular system, (2) regardless of the cause, poor sleep only magnifies your symptoms. Regards, =jbf= B. Guest guest
Belinda, have you had a sleep study? Sometimes excessive daytime fatigue means you are not sleeping well at night. You may not even be aware of having a sleepp problem, but it can show up in a sleep study. Talk to your doctor. Carol & Rob > Hi all, > I was diagnosed 2 weeks ago with a infection in my urine. Guest guest
Belinda, When i get where I can't stand the pain in my legs I take an extra 300 mg neurontin. I have my doctor's okay to do this since I am only taking 900 mg/day. It does seem to help. Of course it also makes me sleepy so I suppose it will make your sleepiness worse. of course all these neurotransmitter drugs affect people differently. Mike Plunkett pain and constant sleep Hi all, I was diagnosed 2 weeks ago with a infection in my urine. I took the medicine. I guess I probably need to go back and make sure that it is gone. I was wondering though I have extreme pain in my arms and leg muscles. Does anyone think I might ought to take a muscle relaxer? Can anyone recommend one that really helps them? Also I was wondering about my sleep needs. I am getting worse and worse about needing sleep. I don't think it's depression so I have ruled that out. I just can't seem to stay awake. I can't make myself stay awake no matter what I am doing. I can fall asleep anywhere and doing anything. I have had extreme fatigue for a long time but not to the point that I need sleep as much as I am now. There are days out of 24 hrs that I might only be awake for 6 hrs. This is so frustrating to me. Thank you for any advise.
