Guest guest
Hello, I am new to this list and I want to thank all of you for the information you post here - I have learned a lot from you!!! I am 33 and had MGB 05/12/2000. I was 288 and got down to 167 (for about a minute) and then stabilized at 171 for a year. I have gained about 8-10 pounds that I am working to get back off. I work out regularly and take my vitamins and B-12 shots. By reading your posts, I have decided to try and devise an individual plan for me to get rid of these extra, pesky punds and maintain better by increasing my protein. It seems to have helped a lot of you with cravings and hunger. I'm for that!!! My question is: Has anyone ever tried, or heard of, a drink mix called Met-Rx? It's a high protein, low carb meal replacement drink. My brother has lost about 40 pounds using this supp along with whey protein, raw oat bran, and frozen fruit three times a day. He has diverticulitis and this combo has helped clean him out as well as loose the weight. He feels great - better than he has in years. I thought I would give it a shot, but I wanted your input first. Thanks again for the info!!!!! Leigh in KY
