Guest guest
<> Earleen- At 134 lbs. you are not too fat to go out in a swimsuit. Even if you are just 5' tall. I know you feel like you're too fat, but force yourself to put that suit on and go to the pool! You'll be amazed when you realize no one is pointing and laughing at you. Have you hung out at the pool lately? Chances are you will look much better than many others there. Sometimes when you are not getting that you have a new body, you just have to get out there and go outside of your comfort zone a little and pay attention to the signals you are getting from the people around you. Kids not staring, men not averting their eyes, people being friendly and making conversation with you easily....it all adds up! And the more you get out there and put yourself in that situation, the easier it gets and the more comfortable you become with your new body. You can do this...I'm here cheering you on!!! ===== A. in Indy SRVG 4-11-00 Dr. Huse St. 's/Carmel,IN Pre-Op: 278 lbs. BMI 47 *As of 4-23-02: 150 lbs. Guest guest
Dear Earlean, I wore a swimsuit at the beach this past May and was still weighing about 200 pounds.. I am just 5'6 in and many of my friends told me I looked great.. I think we all keep that mentality thing about being really fat and looking gross in skimpier clothing such as swimwear.. You put that suit on and go strut your stuff.. you deserve to.. I am with , cheering you on.. Now at 259 pounds I put on shorts! Feels so much better when I am outside walking those miles. Thinking about putting on my bathing suit and heading down to the pool. Fat is often just in our heads. I am still fat and I don't care cause it feels so good to be bare. I strut my ample stuff. 5'3 " Lap RNY 6/26/
