Sorry for the cross-posting, but wanted to get as much feedback as

possible.

I am hoping that someone will be able to shed some light as to what is

happening to me lately. I am 2 years 3 months post-op, and for the past

1-1/2 weeks my ability to consume food (any type) has diminished

substantially. For quite some time, previous to this, it was the

complete opposite. It would shock anyone, myself included, on how large

of portions I could consume with no sensation of fullness or any

vomiting episodes. Although I couldn't eat the amount of food I did as

a pre-op, it sure was close. Luckily on most days I had the willpower

and sense to stop eating regardless if I felt full or not. Now, like I

said, it is opposite. For example, I have a difficult time finishing a

slice of toast (crust removed a habit from when I was a kid. And

yes, I know we shouldn't consume bread products, there was one occasion

that I pigged out and ate 4 pieces of toast with the raspberry jam I had

made. I didn't do this often, I just wanted to give an idea of the

amount I could eat and why I am wondering what could be the reason for

the switch.

Not only do I get the full sensation, but I get quite nauseated too. In

fact, I had to pull over to the side of the road because I had to vomit.

Since my surgery I have only vomited once, that was early on post-op and

it was a case of my eyes being bigger than my pouch. So this vomiting

episode got my attention.

I feel great otherwise. If it keeps up I will call my surgeon but I

thought I would pass it by all you smart people and see if someone may

have an idea of what could be going on.

Looking forward to any responses.

KJ
