Hi, my husbands peg (I wish I could remember what peg means) goes straight

into his stomach. Ginger

Lou,

They go directly into the stomach near the navel. However the PEG goes from the

inside the stomach to the outside (through the throat). A " G " tube goes from

the

outside into the stomach. Either way fluids go directly into the stomach and

bypass the throat.

That web site spells out what I could not remember

Percutaneous -Endoscopic-Gastrotomy. That's where the peg comes from and is

is through the skin. Ginger
