It sometimes takes me a bit to post, after another sufferer has died. As a patient rather than a caregiver it makes you come face to face with your own demise and that is not always what I can deal with. I'm just starting to use a cane in public and the word 'decline' gives me a devastating chill. I guess I can no longer assume I'll ever be fifty.
