Forgot to say, about the number of pills and the expense:

If you've ever visited a health food store or nutrition store, you've

probably noticed that some supplements, even with the same name, are a lot

pricier than others and u have to take a lot more of the pills to get the

same dosage. Generally (tho not always) it's bcuz the supplement in the pills

comes from all-natural sources. For example, it takes a lot more " stuff " from

food sources than from a synthetic, and so u need more pills to get the same

dose u wud from a synthetic, and either bcuz of the extra processing involved

or maybe the scarcity of the natural source (or any number of reasons-

quality control, standardization, etc), they're also more expensive than the

synthetics.

I don't know if this is the case with the Weil supplements or not, but I'd

EXPECT any product he sells to be of higher quality and as much from natural

sources as possible. So that MAY be why so many pills, and so much cost. I

don't know what conditions other than your gastric bypass you answered to on

the questionnaire, but if u said arthritis, they probably are recommending

some glucosamine/chondroitin; and if u said u have a lot of stress, they

probably recommended something for that, etc. In other words, looking at the

total picture of what may be wrong with you, those may be the optimum

recommendations. But who takes a supplement for EVERYthing that bothers them?

(except maybe me, LOL).
