When I am traveling I try to stick to Subway sandwiches (lots of choices for

under 300 calories), or I buy food at the AM/PM mini-market while I am

getting gas. They all carry cottage cheese and little spoons.

Unfortunately, they also carry Pop-Tarts, so it's quite the

multiple-personality style battle at times, with me pacing back and forth

with one in each hand.....

I agree Subway is a healthier way to go if you are in a hurry or traveling.

Their 7 under 6 menu (7 choices under 6 grams of fat) also has pretty good

protein (about 20 grams) in the small sandwiches. I usually ask for extra

fresh vegies and get rid of part of the bread...even though it is so fresh

that's hard to do. But its a good choice and still feels like I'm doing the

fast food circuit psychologically. It really is an eye opener when you go to

the web sites and check out what we put into our mouths.
