Guest guest
I have to add here; I was a completely out of control type 2 diabetic 5 years ago...I was taking 200 units of insulin a day and was still running in the 200's and 300's all the time. Within 30 lbs of my weight loss I was off everything. My surgeon predicted this and said that some do still have to take some medications. Of course if someone was mis-diagnosed with type 2 when they are a type 1 that is another story. Almost 5 years later I have perfect blood sugar. So the surgery did " cure " me although as I age it will probably creep back up. I was SO insulin resistant and weight loss seems to be the cure for that type of diabetes... just had to add my 2 cents and I'm sorry that it did not work for others, I would be very disappointed too... although you guys are still healthier skinnier!!
