Hi Vera,

Our experience is like Ginger's. The doctor at the clinic had to prescribe

it. It's used by some on a regular basis. Lately we use it on an intermitant

basis. By the way do you have stool softener on your list? It's also called

sodium docusate. You can get it otc. Bill has mentioned it several times.

Peg now takes 4 100 mg tablets a day. It's quite inexpensive.

Peg's cast is scheduled to come off a week from next Tuesday. She really

wants to get rid of it now. Peg's having a bad evening. She's been to the

bathroom about 10 times and been up and down to bed about four or five

times. Right now she's asleep in her chair. Especially bad for me as I was

up most of last night thinking about how to deal with a couple of personnel

problems at work.
