Guest guest
Barbara, That may just be an age thing as I have had then for a couple of years now. The doc says they are some name I can't remember and they are harmless in that form. Skin cream helps some. Take care, Bill Werre =============== woodford wrote: > Do other MSA folks have spots of skin pop up, like mosquito bites, only > not (because the mosquitoes here are dead)? Guest guest
Barb - Ned has had several skin problems, especially in the early months/years of SDS, but his bumps were more " open " in the center. Look horrid and the nurses all thought he was breaking out with something horrid. They did not last long, but did recur periodically. Several of his medications have " skin rashes " as a side effect. We thought the benefits of the drugs outweighed the adverse effects. You might want to check side effects. Judy B.

Guest guest
Greetings Barbara! You wondered: > Do other MSA folks have spots of skin pop up, > like mosquito bites, only not ... ? YES! Oh, my gaw! You mean someone else had this? This was one of the very first symptoms I had. It went away after several months, and only occasionally comes back (once every 6 months or so). And then it's pretty minimal. But YES! When it first hit, I had all the allergy screening. Again, the doctors just thought it was stress. Since it cleared up on it's own, I assumed perhaps they were correct. Note that at the same time my sleep completely fell apart. So, at the same time I was having severe problems with my sleep apnea and other sleep issues. It's also important to remember that I do not have a diagnosis of MSA, only of Sporadic OPCA with symptoms that might be consistent with MSA. Regards, =jbf= B.
