Guest guest
Let me preface this by saying I've never been a bathing beautify NOR do I ever expect to ever be one. That being said, I have a plastic surgeon consult this Wednesday, 7/24 for possible reconstructive surgery. I have been examined by my RNY surgeon who feels I need this surgery for either abdominoplasy and/or brachioplasty surgery. My open proximal RNY was 5/11/01 and I have lost approximately 109 pounds. I have " above average " and considerable " batwings " for my weight loss that are causing multiple medical problems, as well as the hanging pannus causing back problems, etc. (I am in no particular rush to enter into surgery again this soon, and am looking at next spring/summer, but the surgeon wants me to get a plastics consult in case it takes forever to start the papertrail.) Does anyone have decent surgery-specific questions I should ask, besides the standard surgeon questions? Any quick info would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to reply to me personally or to the list. Life is good. Now if only the insurance will agree it's medically necessary as the surgeon does. Thanks all!! Bobbie Anchorage, AK WRC@...
