Guest guest
Hi Lou: Thank you for the infor on the Yield House. Never dreamed that I would ever need something like this when we got this house 28 years ago. Who knew. You may want to check out the infor that Bill Werre put in and Barb . I've e mailed the one that Bill put in to see if they know where I can find the hinges , also checking out the one that Barb put in. They show a hinge a little different then the one Bill show's, but both gives the two inches that I need. Thank's again Vera Subject: Re: hinges. Vera: There is a catalog called Yield House (and something else--all kinds of building knobs etc) and maybe they have some hinges that you are looking for. I received a catalog this week, but threw it out unfortunately. You can probably request a catalog on line or call them for information. Good luck. I realize now that I should have been looking for those hinges for us. Never thought of it. They should find a place to get them for you, Bill **************************Vera: Today's Orange County Register had an article on making a house that would last a lifetime. It was about making doors wide enough for wheelchairs and much more. I just searched for it on their site, but it isn't there. It was in the Coastal Living section. They talk about Access one and Adaptability products among other suggestions. The article is by Marsha Kay Seff, and you might call the register and ask for a copy. I will keep mine and give it to you when we meet Bill. The door hinges are called Duromatic Door Hinges, and they are from AdapAbility Products for quality Living. I will call you when I get home Love, Barbara : Check out adaptAbility - Adaptive Products for Quality Living Click here: adaptAbility - Adaptive Products for Quality Living
