Guest guest
> There's a wonderful description of what books can do for children in > Dorothy 's 'CUSHLA AND HER BOOKS' which can be found still in > some libraries - Thanks for this, I've not come across this and will look out for it. I found Dorothy 's " Babies need books " a wonderful source of inspiration (and pure information too) when my DD was tiny. I can't bear reading lousy books to children when so many wonderful ones exist and this was a huge source of ideas (plus it reminded me of all the titles I'd had as a child and had forgotten). Guest guest
Jim P., I used to be an avid reader, then thought maybe age was a factor. I always had several pieces being read at a time, now they are piling up, I don't care. I still read but not with the same zest. And, I'm slow doing anything. I was always impatient and on the move, laid back I wasn't, and it all seems to have changed and before it really would have bothered me. I was dx Sept. 01.
