Guest guest
Hi Everyone, My liver function tests came back quite elevated.. even more elevated than the end of July. As you may recall, I am having a problem with vitamin k deficiency and am taking an oral vitamin k supplement as well as getting vitamin k injections for the next three weeks.. then having repeat labs. My latest labs caused my internist to be quite concerned so she ordered me to have an ultrasound of my abdomen stat.. I had the ultrasound yesterday morning. The sonographer kept asking me if I was sure that I had had my gallbladder removed.. I had this surgery in Dec 1997. She was seeing areas of calcification that she thought was on a gallbladder. After having me turn to one side and then the other, she said she thought the areas of calcification were on the back wall of the colon. I am clueless as to what all this means. I am waiting on the report from the internist who is waiting on the report from the radiologist. I just hope that calcification on the back wall of the colon doesnt indicate any type of serious problem.. like a growth, or beginning of a bowel obstruction.. etc.. Take care Hugs, from GA open RNY 12/12/00 Revision 04/18/01 Revision 02/07/02 St wt.... 392 Cw.......187 Wt loss..-
