Hi,

My name is Joyce and I had Open RNY in Sept/2000. I had the surgery at age

48 and lost from 265 to 155...did it all in 11 months and went from size 24

to size 10. My diabetes and high blood pressure disappeared and I had

very

few problems throughout the whole program.

Is it normal to gain back some of the weight that we lose? I admit that

I did not continue my exercising and do eat more than during the first 18

months but cannot understand how I have gained 10-15 pounds from my lowest.

I have arthritis and have been taking Celebrex and was told that

contributes

to weight gain but don't know if this is true.

Anyone out there experiencing the same problem?

Thanks!

Joyce/Orlando
