Coral calcium - My story

I have been debating whether to reply to this thread or not for a couple of

weeks, but there seems to be several people who are truly interested.

I'm not interested in opening a can of worms or debating anything. This is

just my experience with it.

First of all, coral calcium is NOT made from crushed live coral from living

coral beds. There are laws prohibiting this. PLEASE do your research before

stating such things. As for calcium curing cancer, that is at best, a very

simplistic statement. That being said, ALL LIVING THINGS depend on calcium

to exist. Calcium has a lot to do with the PH balance of our bodies. Illness

starts when the Ph is off. So, it stands to reason that calcium may play a

very important role in cancer treatment. Let's let the scientists and

researchers do their work. As I understand it, there are some very promising

studies in progress. Both my parents have cancer, so this is not trivial to

me.

I asked the same question back in July or Aug. (Does anyone know anything

about Coral Cal.?) Got no replies, started doing my research and talking to

other people who take the stuff. I decided to start taking it in July.

Within 2 weeks I felt like a new person. My left hip down to my knee had

been hurting, and I MEAN hurting, so that I could not sleep and had to keep

shifting my weight when standing. That pain almost disappeared. Still felt

twinges occasionally, but was all but gone. My whole body started feeling

better and my mental outlook improved, too.

Then, the end of August I went on vacation and took ALL of my supplements

sporadically for about 2 weeks. Didn't stop completely, but missed a lot of

doses. I started feeling all the aches and pains again and got to where I

could NOT sleep the whole night. Got back on track and made sure I didn't

skip any more doses of any of my supplements and protein. Within a week, I

was feeling much better.

I personally love the coral calcium and plan on taking it regularly. I got

mine at the health food store, so it is available in some stores. I believe

that the minerals and microbes found in the calcium is a definite plus to

our bodies.

Please do get the Barefoot books and read them. They are a bit on the

technical side but still understandable. This is something that you must

research and decide on for yourself. This is only MY experience.

I can say that when I opened the capsule and poured it into tap water it

dissolved completely. I drank the water and there was not a piece of grit in

it. If it dissolved in tap water then I'm confident that my body is

absorbing it.

Last, but not least, my husband does Organic Lawncare for a living. We don't

use chemicals of any kind on the grass. One of the most promising new

products he uses is a liquid calcium. Research has shown the grass plant

NEEDS that calcium in order to absorb ALL of the other nutrients applied to

the plant. Also, it has long been documented that certain plants cannot grow

in soil that does not have the proper PH. For example, blueberries,

raspberries, grass etc. Calcium can help correct the soil Ph, along with

other supplements. They all work together. This doesn't have anything to do

with us, I just thought it was interesting!

As always, YMMV!
