I just finished reading Saving Milly, is she still alive? What a poignant

story, hubby says there's quite a waiting list at the library. I feel as

though looking into a crystal ball, not good.

Belinda and Vera, I have so enjoyed you're gardening exchanges. I had wanted

to get into the Master Gardener's program a few years ago, but developed sun

sensitivity and had to back off. We have a level corner lot across from two

churches, so it's like living in a goldfish bowl. I've tried to arrange some

privacy with plants, which has been a real challenge through the years. My

neighbor thinks the only plants are edible ones, however, I tuck a few

veggies in among the flowers. For a while when I first filled up the yard, I

thought it wouldn't work with dogs, but as long as I left their 'path' alone

they left the flowers alone, although our old Dane did rearrange my

Daylilies. Then, I thought our new Dane would undo everything, she runs wild

and treats the flowers as an obstacle course as she careens about and leaps

over the planters. So, we CAN have both, flowers and dogs, LOL. I don't know

what happened unless lack of rain, but my bulb plants have few blooms and

they are drooping, that's not happened before. Dodie in MO
