Guest guest
This is Barb Arlington. Mama 1330 on chat. I do not have any answers for you but I do encourage you to keep looking. Yes, insurance can be a problem but if you and your doctor are on good terms you can work through a lot of it. Every day will be a challenge but you can be sure everyone on this list will be here when we can help. I am the surviving spouse of Ralph. We tried everything available and had good doctors all along the way. Ralph was in three different nursing homes because there was not one that had the facilities, nor the nursing care he needed. Not that they were not trying, he just had special needs. Do not give up. Stay as active as you possibly can. Don't feel like you are alone, because you are not. Got questions? Ask. Some one along the way can help. If not we will find someone who can. There is lots of experience wrapped up in all of the letter writers from all over this world. Keep in touch. Barb, in beautiful sunny Texas. Going to 60'+ today. Keep smiling. -- "I'll lean on you and you lean on me and we'll be okay."
