Guest guest
Having a high vitamin D level may come from too much exposure to the sun. Vitamin D is one of the few vitamins the body can make on its own. The body converts sun light into vitamin D. 15 minutes of sun light on just the arms is usually sufficient for the body to be able to make enough vitamin D. As we get older though, the body becomes less proficient at this process. Also, the farther away you are from the Equator, the more sun exposure you need because of the difference in the intensity of sun rays.
