Guest guest
Okay, questions: 1. What is the highest level of magnesium I can give to a 6.5yo, 40-45 lb. child (to help with elimination)? 2. Is there a maximum amount on flax oil? I want to give my son the capsules; he swallows pills well, and he prefers taking them that way. 3. Does anyone know where I can find chicory root in capsule form? This is a good digestive aid for my son for fiber. It works well on him. I can only find it in Yummi Bears so far, and my son HATES gummi bears (texture issue); he swallows them whole when I have made him take them, but he hates them. Guest guest
actualy i look at the lowest level that is effective so that balances are not unecessarily disturbed. 100mg(elemental equivalnet) of magnesium chelate or glycinate works for me flax seed oil is best in an opaque container kept in the refrigerator becuase it is a very fragile oil, capsules would have oxidation issues i think. one teaspoon in the morning? quantities vary with absorbtion efficency, if there are digestive issues, have you tried enzymes? > Okay, questions: > > 1. Guest guest
Yes, I've tried the enzymes with my son. They have not been effective. I haven't tried them in conjunction with GFCF, though.
