Guest guest
I just wanted to take a minute to share some good news. I have been fighting my insurance co for 1.5 yrs to have a hernia repaired and a TT at the same time. I got my letter back with approval and my surgery date is set for Aug 6th. I think that I am more nervous now than when I had my RNY! This just goes to show you that you can fight and win! Much Love! Guest guest
Reba, congrats on your good news, that's wonderful. I just had my TT two weeks ago and I couldn't be happier! I love my new flat tummy. It has been a very easy surgery, but I didn't have a hernia so that might have made mine a bit easier. I wish you the best! Donna M. Guest guest
Carol, you are so right, when hopelessness is lifted I start being able to think, breathe, live... you know? I feel like we're moving forward instead of treading water or worse, frantically trying to keep above water. Before this diet just treading water felt like an accomplishment. Now? I'm shooting for HEALTHY! Jodi, I giggled at the visual of the Egyptian Macarena. I've got both song's stuck in my head now... *GRIN* I'm enjoying the first trophy poop dance very much! Thanks! Guest guest
LOL, I know, right? But after 5 years of helping him care for peri-rectal fistulas, talking about poo firmness is natural. I do have him keep a food log along with weight and BM's, so that gives me an opening to the conversation. Rhonda UC Son, 16, CD SCD 2 months Wonderful news- congratulations on success, and a 16 year old son who will even tell you about poops!!
