Guest guest
I've seen this several times on this group. The idea that going back to doctors " bothers " them. They ARE doctors. They are supposed to be there as a support, to diagnose, to alleviate suffering. Please ask yoursef where this idea came from; did the doctor make you feel you were bothersome; or do you feel unworthy of their time. If the doctor made you feel bothersome, find another doctor. If you feel unworthy, get a therapist and work it out until you feel worthy and confident, the way you feel about yourself can project onto the doctor, and can influence the level of care you get. Bottom line, you need medical professionals whenever you are ill. aletta mes vancouver, bc Canada web: http://aletta.0catch.com
Guest guest
Regarding the doctor/patient relationship: I think it is also a good idea to remember that you are the client and the doctor is someone you've hired and are paying good money. Once I let that idea sink in I felt a lot more at ease about asking questions and pursuing answers. Cindy
