SCA/Ghost Peeps

weakness for peeps. Yesterday we were having a big

tournament event, and at " court, " someone

who wants to get in on her good side brought her a " bribe " of half

a dozen boxes of Halloween peeps! She said they've got a good

start on their knighthood!

WooHoo!!!!!! Lady Chiere here, from the Shire of Starhaven, in the

Kingdom of Trimaris!! I LOVE PEEPS!!!! Alas, eating more than

one in the course of two hours is no longer a good thing. So we

do other stuff. Pull off their heads and make puppets; pull off

their butts,... and make puppets. My favorite thing is to roast them

over the fire.

Who is your Baroness, and which Barony? At Gulf Wars last year,

I had chili, and roasted peeps with some one, (can't remember

her name right now, ) but they had a tent with a lovely

reproduction of the Bayux (sp?) tapestry across the back. Sound

familiar? I will ask my hubby, she is his friend. I am bad with

names.

We have several Bariatric patients in our kingdom, and I've met

several from other kingdoms as well. I actually thought of starting

a web site with tips on combining Bariatric surgery with all the

stuff that goes with the SCA. ( I was at an event 2 weeks after my

surgery date!!!)(where we had a tornado! It was Coronation. We

called it Toronation))

I don't have the time to read the archives, so I don't know if this

has been covered, but how many folks on this list are

SCAdians? One thing I do lament about the weight loss;

ian just doesn't work any more!!!! A girl needs a few

pounds for a corset to work. Bones don't squish very far. But now

I get to wear cothardies!!!
