Guest guest
Hey, all you young'uns! I plan to retire at the end of this year at age 62. Had my WLS at age 61 and my PS (abdominoplasty, lower body lift) in August at age 62. Down 130 pounds. Still in a losing mode (I hope), albeit very slowly now. About 30 pounds to go. Kids(ages 38, 36, 33) are all grown, married, and out of the house. We have three granddaughters (ages 6,4 and 1). DW will retire at the end of next year. I look forward to exercising at the local county recreation center (I hear that there is a sociable group of retired folk who exercise there in the mornings) and learning Tai Chi to keep my body limber, maybe some water aerobics, too, to break up some of the abdominal scar tissue. In the meantime, I have built a small gym in our basement, and I exercise there. Best to all, Steve -- Steve Goldstein, age 62 Lap BPD/DS on May 2, 2001 Dr. Elariny, INOVA Fairfax Hospital, Virginia Starting (05/02/01) BMI = 51 BMI on 08/04/02 = 35 (-105 lb.)
