Guest guest
Good Morning everyone: one of the emails I rec'd this am is from a lady-lurker, gb-er, more than one year out, who does not post to Grad list yet. She asked that I not convey that " relaxing " is a way for some women to become pregnant who have been trying to become pregnant. Even though her email was sent to me privately, I can hear her desire that others not suffer with lack of knowlege about their true conditions, organic and otherwise. So I would like to clarify for anyone else in this lucha, struggle. It can be a tremendum and anguish beyond belief. I myself know from having a history of many " late miscarriages " amongst my daughters and myself, and having buried a beautiful full-term infant child in our family in the recent past. We are, like many families who wanted children, the more the better. The story of the person who wrote to me this mornng is one of tremendous torment during trying to become pregnant, (she does have a child now) and for her, relaxing had nothing to do with it. Quite the contrary. It is true that for many couples with organic issues regarding pregnancy, they have " traditionally " been given much disinformation, ridiculous guesstimates, and patronizing by doctors over the years. One of the bromides was, " Just relax and everything will be fine. " But for many it was not fine. It made them anguish even more. I hope no one will miscontrue the context I wrote in (quoting two women who wrote their personal experience to me that feeling relaxed helped them). (their expereince is theirs, as the third letter writer's is hers and that of many others). Also no one ought think that the two women quoted represent ALL women who are wanting to be pregnant and have a baby. If there is difficulty, a specialist in fertility and/or high-risk pregnancies would be the one to consult. I hope this clarifies adequately for our forum. If not, please let me know. love, ceep G_MOM
