Bill

I have just finished 4 days of playing with the JS/Exploit-BackCSS virus

and I'm plenty upset with McAfee for not having what I needed in plain

print so I could have taken care of it more easily. Ironically, I had

just dropped my firewall because it was really making a mess of my

computer due to problems beyond my control. I had stop using it several

months ago but the fee time just expired the first of April.

Coincidence?? Just my luck!!

After doing some searching for something I needed and checking at least

50 web sites, my Office programs wouldn't work right. It locked up and

I had a small mess but managed to get things done. Ran my virus checker

and surprise, I had it. It only attaches to the machine from an

infected web page and the only way to clean it is to go back and track

it and delete the files it messed up. They were just temporary files

from the net so no problem but it took me 2 days to get a clear answer

from McAfee about what needed to be done because their isn't a fix for

it. Anyway, I'm rethinking my firewall again. Think I might look into

Norton and compare.

Life with a computer! You can't live with them and you can't live

without them!! Haven't I heard that line someplace before?? :>)
