Guest guest
Hi Jerrrie, My husband, Jim, has a tube. He first went to a dr. in August '01, was in the hospital in early Sept. '01, second trip to hospital in late Sept. he had to have the tube. Then in November, he was diagnosed with MSA/SDS. Since then he has improved quite a bit and has been able to swallow and takes hardly anything throught the tube. He went at this backwards! It would be interesting to know just how many on the list do have a tube. Blessings, Mamie Message: 25 Date: Mon, 25 Feb 2002 07:58:06 -0500 (EST) From: deenzer@... Subject: Re: Another Hospital Admission Hi everyone: Bob was discharged from the hospital yesterday. The swallowng test showed he was aspirating water & now he needs to have all his liquids thickened. The dr. said the next step (if the thickener doesn't work) is a feeding tube, which he said he doesn't want. Do many of the patients on this list have one? Regards, jerrie
